Frequently Asked Questions

SHIPPING

  • Which parcel companies do you use?

For most European countries we ship with DPD. To Americas, MEA and APAC we deliver with Fedex.

  • What is standard delivery time?

We dispatch your orders next working day with following indicative delivery time frames:
Within Europe: 3-5 days via DPD
Overseas:  5-8 days FedEx

  • Where is my shipping?

Once your delivery is dispatched we share the tracking number. Please check your email (incl. SPAM box).
Usually tracking systems show last scanned point. If there is same spot shown for more days it does not necessarily mean it’s not moving, just hasn’t been scanned.

PAYMENTS

  • What are available payment methods?

There are two payment methods: PayPal and secured payment gateway. With both you need credit card or active PayPal account.

Bank transfer is available upon R/G authorisation.

If your order is not succeeded due to payment failure, please see next chapter.

FAILED ORDER

  • My order cannot be completed or payment has been denied. Failed Order?

The most common reason is that your credit card issuer denied to process the payment. You can either get in touch with your bank and ask them to let your payment be processed or use the PayPal.

Alternatively, please use the bank account transfer, we provide our bank account details via email upon request.

DEALERS

  • Does Rade/Garage have any dealers in my location?

We ship our products to all countries, we have no dealers and we don‘t run any regular dealership program. Our pricing is built on B2C principals with focus on the end-customers. This allows us to work with low margins and reasonable prices.

Anyway, if you are a company interested in our products, please let us know – every form of cooperation will be discussed individually.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE F5/K5 FAIRING KIT CARBON TOWER

  • How works RADE/GARAGE lifetime guarantee?

We, at RADE/GARAGE have been working with carbon fibre towers for a while. Originally we used them in our custom build for Paris Dakar racers and over time we introduced them in our KTM EXC and Husky FE kits. Based on the feedback we created one for the KTM 790 and now they are coming as a mainstream product to the KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 rally kits.

We are confident that our designs and craftsmanship quality can withstand the stress you put them through. But we also want you to have confidence and eliminate any worry you may have about using different materials and technology. Therefore, we are introducing a lifetime guarantee for our carbon fibre based towers. Instead of pages and pages of legal jargon, we have few basic conditions:

    • We will replace your carbon tower for as long as you own it (does not apply to the windshield, side spoilers, lights, accessories etc.)
    • You agree to ship us the broken tower back (we want to look at what failed, why, etc. so we can keep improving)
    • In case of a major crash, we will ask for pictures of the rest of the bike – we will still replace your tower
    • You pay for the shipping from us to you
    • Lifetime guarantee available for the original buyers only – does not cover take-offs, second hands, etc.

We want to keep the decisions simple for you. Carbon fibre is the lightest and one of the strongest materials available. You should be able to take advantage of it without having to worry about its longevity and crash-worthiness. The RADE/GARAGE lifetime guarantee does just that. It is that simple.

AUXILIARY TANK FOR KTM 690 AND HUSQVARNA 701

  • Which version I should select? ABS or nonABS?

KTM 690 Enduro model years 2008-2013 are not equipped with ABS. Therefore select nonABS option in case your motorbike has been produced in those years, while KTM 690 Enduro 2014-2018 are ABS. For younger models, i.e. 2019-2021 is the auxiliary tank of different shape. Please select your model year carefully to avoid unnecessary troubles with exchanging wrongly ordered parts.

  • Concerns about fuel boiling?
  • Is the siphon method recommended?
  • Can I alternate the auxiliary tank with storage box?
  • Is a fuel remapping required?
Even though we are not engine tuning experts, we work with theory that the ECU adjusts the fuel/air mix on the fly. This allows the bike to operate in optimal working zone, regardless of the condition e.g. altitude, foam filter vs paper etc. We even had our 701/MY20 on DynoJet and the bike is running a bit on the lean side (with our filter and Sharon exhaust) but not outside of the parameters that we consider as safe. i.e. no ECU errors, no danger to the engine and no negative effects on the engine performance. Perhaps it’s just a bit louder, due to more open intake.

FOOTPEGS

  • Do the Rade/Garage footpegs fit to my motorbike?

Our R/G lower and wider footpegs have been designed for following bikes:

  • KTM 950/990/1050/1190 Adventure
  • KTM 1290 SAR
  • KTM 790/890 Adventure (R, Rally)
  • KTM 690 Enduro R, SMCR
  • Husqvarna 701 Enduro, LR, SM

Footpegs are available in three colours: orange, blue and black.

These footpegs are not suitable for EXC/FE models.

SHARON EXHAUST

  • Is Sharon Exhaust homologated for road use?
Not, the Sharon Exhausts are intended to be use only as offroad or “race only” whatever we call it. The spark arrestor is included, so you can ride in California or Australia where you pay high attention to the fire prevention.
  • Is a fuel remapping required after installation of Sharon Exhaust?
Even though we are not engine tuning experts, we work with theory that the ECU adjusts the fuel/air mix on the fly. This allows the bike to operate in optimal working zone, regardless of the condition e.g. altitude, foam filter vs paper etc. We even had our 701/MY20 on DynoJet and the bike is running a bit on the lean side (with our filter and Sharon exhaust) but not outside of the parameters that we consider as safe. i.e. no ECU errors, no danger to the engine and no negative effects on the engine performance.
