Check your motorcycle and tools – Before departure, ensure your motorcycle is in good working order and that you carry the necessary tools for minor repairs.
Consider weather conditions – Wet or rainy weather will make the route more slippery and difficult to ride. Adjust your plans accordingly.

Ride in groups of at least two – We recommend riding with at least one partner for safety.

Ride at your own risk – Participation is entirely at your own risk, and you bear full responsibility for any consequences.
A) Monte Jafferau
Length: 80 km
Time estimation: 3-4 hours
Restriction: Open only on Saturday!
Note: Suitable to combine with Colle de Somelier.
Monte Jafferau (2800 m) is an old artillery fortress on top of the hill with a 360 view. You get up from Exilles, you meet the military base Forte Pramand, and then you go via a narrow Saracen tunnel to a spectacular mountain road up to the top. Partially you go back the same way, but you turn direction to Bardonecchia. There you can decide if you continue to Cole de Sommellier or go back to the camp.
B) Colle de Sommellier
Length: 90 km
Time estimation: 4-5 hours
Restriction: €8 fee. Closed on Tuesday.
Note: Suitable to combine with Monte Jafferau.
Colle de Sommelier (3000 m) is the highest accessible summit in the Susa Valley. You go on-road to Bardonecchia and continue by a long and spectacular dirt road along the Vallone di Rochemolles for about 20 km. Before the steep ascent, you can take a refreshment at Rifugio Scarfiotti. The ascent to the summit is about 10 km, and it is reachable only in good weather conditions. On the way back, the track continues with the ascent on a dirt road to the Col del Colomion, passing by Bramafam Fort, where you can visit an interesting military museum, followed by a descent into Puys, from where, on an asphalt road, you go back to the camp.

C) Strada dell’Assietta
Length: 140 km
Time estimation: 5-6 hours
Restriction: Open every day.
Note: Make a coffee and snack stop at Rifugio Assietta Jack Canali.
Strada dell’Assietta is a very spectacular road with amazing views. You go on-road to Susa and climb up until it reaches the Colletto, where the dirt stretch up to Colle delle Finestre (2176 m) begins. From here, after a short descent on an asphalt road in the magnificent Pian dell’Alpe, begins the most famous of the military roads in the area, the Assietta Road. After about 12 km, you can stop and walk to the Testa dell’Assietta monument with a 360 view, and after a few hundred meters of riding, we recommend you stop for a coffee at Rifugio Assietta. Having reached Colle Basset (2424 m), the descent to Sestriere begins and continues on an asphalt road towards Cesana Torinese until the diversions to Sansicario, from where, following a beautiful sloping dirt road, you reach the SS 24 and continue on-road back to the camp.
D) Valle Aregentera and Val de Pres
Length: 120 km
Time estimation: 5-6 hours
Restriction: €5 fee. Open every day.
Note: Potential coffee and snack stop at Alpe Plane refugio.
You start on-road direction Oulx and Sauze d’Oulx uphill to Cole Basset and down to Sestrierre. In the Valle Argentera, an easy dirt road allows you to reach the top of the Gran Miol grange and then descend on the orographic right, touching the Alpe Plane grange; returning to the valley on the same route, after a short asphalt stretch, you arrive at Bousson, and from here take the dirt road to Lago Nero; a demanding stretch leads to the Capanna Mautino hut with panoramic views of Monte Chaberton and its imposing fortification. Turn back and head to the village of Sagna Longa, and continue towards Claviere. At Les Albertes, you take the splendid Névache Valley, which we follow for a long stretch until the diversions onto a dirt road at Val-des-Prés. You then return to the asphalt road at the junction for Colle della Scala (1778 m) before descending to Bardonecchia. Finally on the road back to the camp.
